２週間ほど前、天才ミュージシャンTom MischがYoutubeにSolangeのCranes in the Skyという曲の素晴らしいカバーを公開しました。

この曲にラップを乗せたいと思い、原曲の歌詞を調べたらあまりにも秀逸なので、自分には書けないと思いました。何か題材になるものをと思い探していたら、茨木のり子さんという詩人の作品『鶴』を見つけました。

その世界が僕の描きたいものとつながったのでこの『鶴』をラップすることにしました。そのイメージから膨らんだ貼り絵もジャケットにしてみました。楽しんでもらえたら幸いです。

A couple weeks ago, a genius musician Tom Misch gave us an amazing cover of Cranes in the Sky by Solange on Youtube.

This one made me so chill and want to rap on it.
I went to search for original Solange's lyrics and it has untouchable lyricism.
I felt like I couldn't write anything good as much as that.
Then I searched and found Japanese poetry "Tsuru" about cranes flying over Himalayan Range from India by a poet Noriko Ibaraki and it matched with my feeling.

I thought it would be interesting if it's rapped.
That's how and why I made this remix and an artwork.
Salute Tom Misch and Noriko Ibaraki.
